Certification Programs
1) The cadillac of minority certifications is the SBA 8(a) where contracts can be doled out by the government agencies involved. This requires two years experience, and is for disadvantaged ethnic minorities. (Women are not ethnic minorities, which is a common misconception.) 2) The Woman Owned and Disadvanced Woman Owned Certification programs
are separate, and also done through SBA. Right now the process
is "self" guided, and involves getting registered in CCR and
ORCA and doing a self certification.

3) Also, there is a Small Business or SBE certification with
