Professional Background:

Rachel Busch is a six-year employee with the City of Scottsdale and is an Economic Development Specialist.    Rachel promotes the advantages of Scottsdale as a location for businesses, redevelopment, and future development or expansion, and is responsible for the recruitment and development of commercial property and retail in Scottsdale.  Rachel organizes the Small Business Workshops in conjunction with the Small Business Development Center.

Rachel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Regional Development from the University of Arizona and a Masters in Public Administration from Arizona State University.  She is a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD)  and is a member of the International Economic Development Council (ICDC), the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Urban Land Institute (ULI) Young Leader, and a board member of the Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED) and president of the Anne Rita Monahan Foundation.
