Our 8 conveniently-located Centers assist business people like you in every aspect of business development and management. The Maricopa SBDC delivers services to anyone who owns or operates a business or is planning to start a business. We work with businesses in every industry and at every stage of growth from start-ups to well-established companies. We’re here to provide assistance in all aspects of small business management by providing you with:

- Training including live informational sessions that meet once, in-depth classes, and online webinars

- Programs in areas like Small Business Management that can include classroom education, one-to-one coaching from an advisor, and networking with owners of other small businesses who are participating in the program

How Much Does It Cost?
The Maricopa Small Business Development Center Network provides confidential, one-to-one advising at no cost to Maricopa County businesses and to people in our communities that are starting a new business. How do we deliver top quality services without charging you? We’re funded by the US Small Business Administration and our host the Maricopa Community Colleges. There are nominal fees for some of our trainings, online courses, programs, and other resources. For more details, go to these areas of the website.

Our Impact
One of our primary goals through assisting small businesses in Maricopa County is to simultaneously create economic impact. Our assistance and creation of economic impact is measured by the United States Small Business Administration (SBA) as related to the creation of businesses, jobs, jobs retained, capital formation, expansion of business, improvements as related to marketing or management, retained sales, and increased sales.
- How Do I Get Started?
If you are a new business, visit the New Business section of our website. If you are an existing business, visit the Existing Business section. You must complete the online Request for Counseling application that will be forwarded to the Maricopa SBDC office.
Within five business days you will be contacted by a Maricopa SBDC Counselor to get started on your path to success.
