Small businesses continue to pivot to new revenue sources and adapt their business models in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Business planning is critical as you take steps to sustain operations and plan for success in the coming year.

Lou Farina, a Maricopa Small Business Development Center (SBDC), Business Analyst, will share his perspective and key elements to include as you update your business plan. Topics will include the process of business planning and the rationale for writing the business plan, and how it can be used with different stakeholders such as lenders and investors. Business plan areas to be detailed include the executive summary, value proposition, market overview, customer segments, competition, management team and advisors, risks, and financials. Lou will also explain the no-fee counseling services, resources, and tools available to SBDC clients developing their business plans.
