Basics of Proposal Writing

This is a basic introduction to responding to government proposals. Topics to be presented are:

• Understanding the parts of an RFP
• Preparing to bid
• Avoiding common mistakes
• Q&A
• Proposal coaching

Each attendee will learn:

* What the important parts to federal and state solicitations are.
* What the appropriate response format is.
* Where to go for more information.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a current solicitation or an old one that they wish to dissect. Laptops are also highly recommended.
