Arizona SBDC Network State Office (Tempe, AZ) – The Arizona SBDC Network is pleased to announce Ellen Kirton, Director of Pima Community College SBDC, has been recognized by the Small Business administration for her work as a Boots to Business instructor. Her expertise and dedication for helping military veterans pursue their dream of business ownership will be honored during the 37th Annual America’s SBDC Conference in Nashville, Tennessee. Ellen’s national recognition stems from hard work. “It reflects well on the AZSBDC Network’s contributions to helping active military, veterans and their families succeed.” said Robert Blaney, Arizona SBA District Director.

Boots to Business is a no-cost entrepreneurial training program offered by the U.S. Small Business Administration to service members and their dependents who are transitioning or retiring from the military.
